A Dozuki is a type of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_saw|Japanese saw]. We chose it as the company name because, like our software, it is a precision tool designed to excel in its specific purpose.
A Dozuki is a pull saw that is often used by master carpenters and woodworkers. In contrast to a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saw|traditional saw] (designed for both a push and pull action) you may quickly break the teeth off of a Dozuki by applying force in the wrong direction.
