Hi Adam,
We just recently added that feature (updating user info). ~~So recent in fact that it's not live yet!~~ (Now it is). Unfortunately we accidentally published the documentation for the feature before it was available.
-Sorry about the mess-up. The feature ~~will be available soon~~ (is now available!) and will work exactly as described. If not this weekend, then likely Monday evening.
