How to Kit a Pro Tech Base Toolkit

This guide demonstrates how to prepare the kitting process for the Pro Tech Base Toolkit, as well as what steps to take to create 1 kit.

Step 1 How to Kit a Pro Tech Base Toolkit  ¶ 

  • Set up the tools in a rainbow formation in order from right to left.

  • Place the opened, empty pouch in the middle of your workstation.

    • Place the box of pouches to the lower right side of the table.

    • Place a trash can on the lower left side of the table.

Step 2  ¶ 

  • Holding onto the end of the packaging, shake the 4 metal spudgers out.

    • Be careful, don't shake too hard or the tools will go flying.

  • Insert each spudger into an individual slot.

    • Make sure the spudger with the sharp end has the sharp end facing out.

  • Throw the packaging away.

Step 3  ¶ 

  • Place the black spudger in the same slot as the smallest metal spudger, as shown.

Step 4  ¶ 

  • Remove the ruler from the plastic packaging.

    • Throw the packaging away.

  • Place the ruler in the final individual slot.

Step 5  ¶ 

  • For the pack of tweezers, pull the clear plastic front away from the plastic backing.

  • Remove the tools from the packaging.

  • Place them in individual slots.

    • Make sure the angled tweezers are facing left, as shown.

Step 6  ¶ 

  • Rip open 2 packages of the plastic opening tools.

  • Place them in the final individual slots with the sharp ends facing down.

Step 7  ¶ 

  • Remove the air from bag containing the Anti-Static Wrist Band by:

    • Folding the bag in half

    • Popping it with a black spudger

  • Place the folded bag in the velcro pouch, pushing it snugly into the left corner.

Step 8  ¶ 

  • Place the suction cup in the velcro pouch, snugly into the right corner.

Step 9  ¶ 

  • Slide the Driver Kit under the elastic band until it fits snugly in place.

Step 10  ¶ 

  • Do a final inspection to ensure all of the tools are present and in the correct place.

  • Fold the left flap of the kit (the side with the velcro pouch) over the driver kit and tuck the edges in, as shown.

  • Fold the right flap of the kit to secure the velcro and close the kit.

Step 11  ¶ 

  • Place the completed pouch back into the plastic wrapping it initially came in.

  • Close the open end of the plastic bag by securing it with a label.
