The Guide format is catered specifically towards documenting visual processes. If you do not have pictures of a given step or process, it would probably be best to use multiple bullets on a single step (limit of 8 total bullets).

You can also include tertiary, non-procedural information at the top of a Guide in the Introduction Section.

An additional alternative would be to create a [http://www.dozuki.com/Help/Wikis|Wiki Page].

While Guides are step-by-step, structured documents, Wikis follow a much less structured format. For example, if you want to provide users with background information on what something is and how it works, then a Wiki is much more useful than a Guide.

Here are a couple examples of some extensive wiki pages:

* http://ipsgroupinc.dozuki.com/Wiki/Data_Management_System
* http://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Xbox_Troubleshooting

You can then choose to link the URL of the wiki page into the Introduction section of a guide, on specific bullets within a guide, or on a Category page. This makes it easy for you to provide reference information for the reader.

To create a wiki page, you would click on your username at the top right of Dozuki and select 'New Page', from here you would then select 'Wiki'.

Let me know if this helps with the issue you are having with the Guide format.
