Guidebook supports required procedural processes (dependencies) through the use of our Prerequisites feature.
If you have a starting-point process that is required before performing multiple end-goal processes, Prerequisites is a really handy tool. For example:
To do Process A, you must follow these steps in order: X then Y.
To do Process B, you must follow these steps in order: X then Z.
However, you probably do not want to write the guide for X twice. Here is where Prerequisites come in handy!

How to use Prerequisites
- On your new guide, click Optional Details
- Here you have the option to fill in the list of any Prerequisite guides
- Type them into the fields in sequential order
