Introduction

This guide demonstrates how to add customizable data capture forms to a guide page that will be completed by the user in Operator View.

Click the Edit button at the top right corner of your guide page to open the edit page for the guide.

Scroll down and click On for the Data Capture toggle on the right side of the page.

  • In the Steps list, click on the thumbnail of the step that you want to edit.

    • To edit individual steps from Guide View, click the Edit button in the top right corner of the guide step.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the step until you see the Drag & Drop Components and the Step Form.

  • Drag and drop the components you'd like to use from the box on the left to the Step Form box on the right.

  • Customize each component by clicking on it in the Step Form box.

  • Enter the text for the prompt you wish to create.

  • Enter a sample answer.

  • Click the Save button to save the component.

  • To set a component as required, check the box labeled Required on the component popup.

    • A Checkbox cannot be set as a required component. Radio Buttons are always set as required components.

  • Required components are identified with red asterisks.

  • Once you have created the desired fields for your form, click the Save Form button to create the step form.
