  1. Grab the appropriate box for the item.
    • Grab the appropriate box for the item.

    • Note: The box should fit the item you are shipping while leaving room for packaging material.

    • Press the creased edges along the longer sides of the box.

    • Locate the two open ends of the box.

    • At each end there are two small flaps attached to the narrow sides of the box.

    • Press these flaps towards the inside of the box until they are perpendicular.

    • On the side where you folded in the two smaller flaps, locate the long and narrow flap that is flat along the outer edge.

    • Locate the part of the flap with a crease and fold the top portion with the crease inwards until it is perpendicular.

    • Fold the entire flap inwards until it is flush with the top of the box.

    • Fold down the rounded rectangular flap that is attached to the other flap and insert it into the slit on the side of the box.

    • Insert the item into the box.

    • Fill the box with the appropriate packaging materials.

    • Close up the end of the box just as you did with the other end.

    • Apply a single, straight line of tape around the box.

    • Be sure to go fully around the box with the tape.

    • Do not overlap tape multiple times.

    • Apply the proper label to the box for shipping.

    • For international boxes, remember to attach the additional label.

    • Get the invoice for the order you will be packaging.

    • Read the invoice to determine what item you will be packaging.

    • Walk to the shelving units and locate the Pro Tech Toolkits.

    • Pull one Pro Tech Toolkit off of the shelf.

    • Walk back to your workstation.

    • Scan the invoice.

    • Scan the label on the Pro Tech Toolkit.

    • Determine the appropriate box for packaging the Pro Tech Toolkit.

    • Note: The box that is used should be the one that is closest to the item's size while still leaving room for any pacaking materials.

    • Construct the approporate box.

    • Fold the invoice paper in half.

    • Place a cupon card or a sticker in between the two sides of the folded invoice.

    • Put the Pro Tech Toolkit on top of the invoice.

    • Pick up both the invoice and the Pro Tech Toolkit and put them inside of the box you constructed.

    • Close the box.

    • Tape the box shut.

    • Note: Make sure the box is taped so that there are no flaps that can get stuck on anything while the package is in transit.

    • Adhere the premade shipping label to the box.

    • Note: If the package is being shipped out of the United States, put a label with an item list on so that the customs associates can appropriately charge duties for the country.

    • Scan out the order with the premade shipping label.

    • Place the package in the appropriate place for pickup.

    • Note: For international orders, place it in the yellow bag.

    • With your thumb and pointer finger grab the tape close to the blade on the dispenser.

    • Pull the tape away from the dispenser using your thumb and pointer finger.

    • Reminder: Keep the tape straight and taut while pulling it out of the dispenser.

    • Using your thumb and pointer finger, grab the tape near the blade and pull downwards.

    • This will remove the strip of the tape from the dispenser for your use.

    • Reminder: Keep the tape straight, making sure the sticky side doesn't touch anything.

    • Hold both ends of the tape, aligning the middle of the strip of the tape with the middle of the long, wide part of the box.

    • Place the tape so it will go across the flaps that open and close on the box.

    • Wrap the remaining tape around the sides that open and close.

    • Continue wrapping this tape onto the back of the box.

    • Your box is now properly taped up!
