Features

 

  • Updated our Version Control system to include Release Versions
    • The new Release Versions feature allows you to review and release sets of changes at one time—before they become viewable to everyone
  • Developed additional support for custom HTML on sites
  • Changed the Dynamic List feature so it allows prerequisite guides to be displayed inline with regular guides
  • Added API support for programmatically attaching parts and tools to guides
  • Re-designed the look and feel of alerts and notifications across the site
  • Removed the reputation limit for editing wiki titles
    • New users can now immediately contribute to wikis
  • Improved the “Add Comment” button on Answers posts so it’s more visible and aesthetically pleasing
  • Removed the reputation requirement for adding comments on Answers posts
  • New users can now immediately contribute to discussions
  • Made German and Spanish translations more accurate
  • Restyled the up/downvote icons on Answers for a clearer, interactive experience
  • Made the process of relating a wiki to a category easier
    • The search input now auto-completes as you type in the category name
  • Allowed images links in Wikis to use relative URLs
  • Improved security by destroying users’ existing sessions when they change their password

 

 

Bugs

 

  • Fixed a bug where an unnecessary sidebar would occasionally appear on the Answers page
  • Fixed a bug where an unfinished wiki translation feature was appearing on sites
  • Fixed a bug where the title and summary on a wiki page would occasionally be duplicated
  • Fixed an issue where the gear icon shown when hovering on images was off-center
  • Fixed a bug where the link to the last verified version of a guide did not work
  • Fixed visual bugs that occurred when using Wiki syntax on Answers posts
  • Fixed a bug where wikis with similar titles conflicted with one another
