Release Update: July 2018

Our product team is always making improvements to the Dozuki platform. Take a look at the highlights from the previous quarter (April to June 2018) to see the latest updates.
Cloud
Concurrent Worklog Sessions (New)
- Allows users to have multiple work orders running at once.
- Select from a dropdown of active work orders.
- Rather than waiting for a step to be complete, on approval from a supervisor, or a quality check, users can now begin working on another work order immediately, increasing efficiency without skewing data.
Improvements

- Enabled Authors to use the Prereq-Only flag.
- Significantly optimized page loads when reviewing unanswered Answer posts.
- Made a minor interface update to the media manager that details how users can upload media in multiple ways (ie: copying and pasting the image into the media manager).
- Added a new .full size when generating multiple sizes of an original image when uploaded to media manager. This will replace .original in many places.
- Removed visual “page effect” from numerous interfaces (visual-only change).
- Built a new validation tool to enable support for numeric data capture fields with minimum and maximum thresholds on all versions of IE.
- This is a followup to our previous deprecation of numeric validation for specific versions of IE.
- Built backend tools to better handle forget me requests for GDPR compliance.
- Added the use of canonical URLs appropriate for the locale where content exists.

- Changed the naming of tool from “bulk-import steps” to “bulk-create steps.”
- Added more video encoding support for introduction videos in Guides.

- Added a new URL parameter to auto-launch a work log session with a prefilled work order.
- Enabled language selector for users without logging in when site is set to public.
- Changed title of “notes” to “comments” on user profiles.
- Increased search index to perform re-indexing every five minutes or sooner.
- Enabled prerequisite search to show private content in search suggestions.
- Updates to WYSIWIG editor:
- Added undo and redo buttons.

Fixes
- Fixed an error causing Dashboard filters to not function correctly.
- Fixed a bug in our fetching of data related to Guide comments that caused duplicate comments to display.
- Fixed an error where PDF uploads were failing due to improper permissions.
- Fixed minor visual bug where “cancel” button overlapped with other elements in data capture.
- Fixed a bug where Operator View would crash when launched on a guide containing no content or data capture fields.
- Fixed a minor bug in “timing and data capture” report that caused the start time and end time columns to be blank.
- Fixed minor usability issues with links in the WYSIWIG editor.
- Fixed a minor bug that was disabling the ability to rearrange steps when editing a guide.
- Fixed a bug in work log .csv and .pdf exports where multiple image uploads via data capture were not displaying.
- Disabled numeric validation in data capture for specific versions of IE as a result of IE’s lack of supporting html standards.
- In the future we will be building an IE specific validator to restore this functionality.
- Fixed a minor bug in auto-looping a work log session when it is initially started with the workorderid parameter.
- Fixed an API bug where images were being returned as null when using the non-default language of the site in the request.
- Fixed a bug where multiple consecutive checkbox controls would error when a user viewed the process in Operator View.
- Fixed a minor bug disabling Signoffs in non-site default language guides.
- Fixed a minor bug where the Operator View exit button was showing in the full-screen embed.

- Fixed a bug in the work log .csv export process which caused a server error when processing specific strings.
- Fixed a minor focus issue when clicking the search icon on mobile devices.
- Fixed a minor padding issue below guide comment submission forms.
- Fixed an issue with Edit and Options menus not showing on desktops with specific widths.
- Fixed a minor bug in moderation tools that removed more content than appropriate when punishing abusive user behavior.
- Fixed a bug with step data being displayed out of order on PDFs.
- Fixed a minor error that occurred when closing without hitting cancel button in media manager after a file upload.
- Fixed a minor issue with search animation in mobile header.
