Hello @robger! Thank you for your question. In general, JPG images are great for photos, but they don’t perform as well for text and UI elements. By nature, compression can create visual artifacts on things like UI elements.[br]
The Dozuki cropping tool within a guide works well for maintaining the image ratio of 800x600 (standard size in Dozuki) and a clearer resolution.[br]
As more customers use images like screenshots, we’re working to support images that provide better detail. Moving forward PNG files that you use in your guides will remain as PNG so as to provide crisper, clearer screenshots.[br]
