So I can (partly) answer myself. After some tries I could flash the board via USB connection, but not via SD card. So obviously the Usb connection is vital. It is strange, that there is nowhere a hint how board and pi are connected (usb, bluetooth or wifi or anything else). Additionally it would be great to get some hints how to route cables and wires from the printer to the electronics (including which ‚holes‘ are meant to be used for fastening).
